Production Manager

Description: Primary duties of the Production Manager include; Manage and supervise 45-50 direct reports in a metal fabricating environment. Ensure compliance with Safety, Quality, Production and cost parameters. Organize and assign work to utilize available skills, knowledge and experience. An ambassador for the organization to lead by example, interact, assess, coach and support entire production team, to be fair, equitable, unbiased and accessible to all team members. Provide instruction with training,guidance,coaching and direction to all team members under your report. Maintain conformance with company policies, rules and regulations (company handbook) and participate in employee evaluations. Embrace, encourage and promote lean continuous improvement initiatives and activities.

Shift: 1st

Requirements: Required to sit, stand, walk for an entire shift. Strong knowledge of fabrication equipment and techniques, proven management/leadership with 8+ years of experience in a manufacturing environment including 6+ years of fabrication experience. Fluid computer software and keyboard skills, knowledge of lean manufacturing applications and concepts. Ability to lift up to 50#
